miles of trash and addicts zombie marching around

There were pretty many in North Dublin in Ireland. Not like in the USA, but more than I expected. They were hanging around the bus station throwing up coming off their highs begging for money. Limerick is full of drug addicts as well. And in the UK - most of the big cities are full of them.

Paris has a bunch of trash zombies too.

Sometimes I don’t like the government telling people what to do

Other times I wish the government could round these people up and force them into the military or something more productive

I’d bet most of those junkies got started on marijuana.

Their city government should legalize and tax heroine and give all those people tickets for littering and loitering.

There’s not a country on this earth that doesn’t have slums. As shitty as it looks there are hundreds, maybe a thousand, good neighborhoods to this one.

Japan doesn't look like that anywhere.
I'd bet Norway/Sweden/Finland don't have that anywhere, and Germany as well. Can't imagine New Zealand looking like that anywhere.

Of course there's poor areas in other countries, but their poor people don't act like our poor people.

Round the homeless up and put them in a "prison" where they have to stay for 1 year. They will be provided normal clothes, showers, and beds. No drugs, no alcohol, no fricking. You get caught doing that, you go to real prison. "prison" should be out in the country where they have plenty of edible trees and ability to grow vegetables. They can eat wild pigs. Tell hunters in LA they can kill all the hogs they want, just bring them here, maybe give them money per pound for the hog. When you're done with your year, you get $5k to go out and be a productive member of society. You get caught being homeless or a drug charge again, you come back for another 3 years. no money when you leave this time. you get caught a 3rd time, you go to prison for 20 years.
These people contribute nothing to society and we need to stop enabling them by providing food and shelters for them while they litter our streets and society. You want a shelter, it'll be like Angola.
There is no reason for someone to be homeless in America.

i mean im not really sure what the point is. every city this large has areas with high poverty and homeless. That area of "philly" is the boundaries and has been that way for a very long time. Philadelphia in general ahs actually cleaned itself up vastly over the past few decades.

Thank you!! I'm from there and it is a hell of a lot different from when I grew up, but people want to bash on Philly every chance they get.

I grew up there in the 90's and Kensington has always been a shite hole. By grewup I mean I was raised in Delco and have only ventured into Kensington a handful of times.
