For one, it is the Karman line, and it is the general accepted edge of space at 100 kilometers.

They’re trying to make this a story because the “crew” are all women. Meanwhile, we were sending dogs and monkeys into space 75 years ago.

Yeah, it's all a spectacle. I don't know why people hate on Katy though, she has not done much wrong other than root for Ole Miss. Her music may be shite but any girl that watches some SEC football is alright with me.
Plus she has great tits.

So, so very wealthy entertainers took a very expensive and very short thrill ride into the upper atmosphere as a publicity stunt and are now trying to hype the 4-minute period of weightlessness.

Look at this. They’re acting like they were on Apollo 13 or something.

I'd probably kiss the ground after being propelled into space by a gigantic fricking rocket and then safely landing too.

I don't know. It'd still be pretty awesome to ride a rocket.

Not sure why someone would put themselves through this when they do not get to experience space at all. Just the horizon.

The average person doesn't even know what this is. That is why the PR stunt works

It's not like they are loading up the rocket with a bunch of rocket scientists

They flew in a rocket designed and built by men, owned by a company started by a man, navigated by technology programmed by men, and recovered by men after landing, and this is a massive accomplishment...for women.

Got it

This is 100% Bezo’s fame chasing current side piece seeking attention and taking some of her gal pals on a ride into “space.”
They probably popped a cap on some rose while up there. Absurd.

Meanwhile Elon is saving astronauts from government and Boeing incompetence.

I do not get calling this a space mission. This is an amusement park ride where they will spend 11 minutes past the Karman Line,

100% correct. It's not a "mission". It's 100% PR stunt. Bezos needs to get out and do something more productive than just PR stunts.

The news media is acting like they’re doing some type of mission calling them the first woman crew in outer space.

It’s an automated spaceship ride for 11 minutes….

I guess we shouldn't discount the rigorous and brutal training regimen they had to endure, which consisted of:

1) Put on this blue jumpsuit
2) Show up at the launchpad at 10 a.m.
