fricker should have gotten life or the chair. White or black.

Didn’t deserve a new trial, deserved more than 35 years.

I wish he would have gotten a new trial, and the prosecution seek 99 years. There is enough here to get a better sentence for him.

He should be happy.
The shite that came out (that was not presented to the jury in the trial) would have resulted in a harsher sentence.

It wasn’t his fault. Freddie Mercury was drinking Gatorade and an old Saturn has a problem with the oil temp rising or whatever in the stars makes people not accountable for their actions.

In Texas does this put him back at the regular prison or does that have to wait until his appeal process is also over?

He will be out at 35ish. His parents will undoubtedly call Edward Jones and invest all that grifted money and he will be a multimillionaire.

They also argued Anthony was denied his Sixth Amendment right to a public trial because of decisions limiting courtroom access during his trial.
I also never understood why this was even attempted just because they decided to not have an overflow room set up for more of the public to watch it on closed circuit tv and had other restrictions to avoid disruptions and recording it with devices.
There were regular members of the public there every day. I saw a report on at least one guy who made it inside the courtroom every day. Members of the press were also there and sending reports multiple times a day.
Just having limited spots, enforcing behaviors, and not allowing devices to take pictures or to video or audio record the trial including of the jury doesn’t equate to not having a public trial.
I am sure it will be brought up again on appeal.

Exactly.
I think they kept cameras out of the courtroom to protect the majority of the witnesses (who were minors) from the idiots in BLM blasting their faces and identities all over the internet to be harassed. Very smart move by the judge.

All of the shite his team pulled up had absolutely nothing to do with that day. They should've known better. They got this one right. Thankfully it was in Texas.
