You’re dumb. Please do a better job of coming up with an actual argument next time instead of just trying to impress people with big, unusual words.
And yes, the same concept applies in both situations.

That’s exactly what you and your illogical, panicky sisterhood did with the shutdown.
Hospitals shut down elective procedures and people were too scared by the panic porn on the MSM to go for doctor visits. Lots of cancers and other serious conditions went undetected and untreated because of you. Because. Of. You.
But at least you felt safe with big government telling you what to do.

Could’ve bought like 50 masks for less fortunate people with the money spent to make that sign.

Finally, someone gets Karen right.
Any random white woman from 30-55 has been erroneously labeled "Karen" lately

That has been true every flue season. What's different now? Unless you're one of those easily duped imbeciles who actually believe there have been 130K+ deaths because of the Chinese Flu.

The majority of mask wearers think you can just hide and virus goes away.
Germany, France, Sweden, Spain(I think Italy as well though not sure) all are averaging under 10 deaths / day on 7 day average. They were 50-100 times higher at peak.
Herd through infection isn't that far off. shite, we probably have it or very nearly in the Northeast. They are down 95% or so from peak.
What happened to "Flatten the Curve"?
Are we to destroy the economy over the Flu virus next?
You can't shutdown indefinitely until the vaccine, which at absolute best is 6 months away. Many more multitudes will die from shitty economy, stress, depression, drugs etc.

Yep. By their "logic" we should.
They claim us going to gym can overload the HC system. Yet, their diet puts them at higher risk of hospitalization.
We should rope off junk food aisle!

And besides you being too stupid to differentiate between a post about wearing a mask and hospitals shutting down elective procedures, can you provide a link to this data?
I don't think that operating an a life threatening cancer constitutes an "elective procedure". They may have shut down a knee replacement surgery but not anything that would be life threatening. In fact, my brother in law had a cancerous tumor removed from his brain in the middle of the quarantine. My sister couldn't visit with him because of the virus, but he was diagnosed and had surgery despite your unsubstantiated claims. Had he become infected with the virus in that condition, I seriously doubt he would have survived.

Eh, I'm iffy on that idea as well. I care about my wife and I. There are some relatives I care about; my Mom, the inlaws and siblings. Maybe a cousin or three and my nieces. But to quote the late, great Neil Peart, I can't pretend a stranger is a long awaited friend. Add a couple of good buddies into the mix, and the number of people I could give a shite about is maybe two dozen people. Everyone else can take a flying leap.

Anti maskers need to stop and think for a sec! 300 pound Karen could die from corona if you don’t mask up.

The difference for me was that this was an unknown entity. All of you geniuses that are using hindsight to argue your case forget that we had never dealt with this virus before. No vaccine, no established treatment, and really no long term data telling us what to expect.
When I was a kid, we had a bridge piling we would jump off of during the summer. Kids had been doing it for decades. There was another piling on that same bridge that no one would ever jump off of, no matter how long the line was on the first piling. One day I asked a buddy why no one jumped off the other piling. He just looked at me and said, "Because no one has ever taken that jump before." We didn't know if there was a hazard so we played it safe. We called that Common Sense.
