The bigger issue than just being an inconsiderate arse is the need to make a video of a trivial aspect of life.
"I went to the ice cream shop today. This would make a great video!"

I saw this chick on Tik Tok before her viral vid. She definitely wasn’t this kind of ridiculous person and posted a lot about the psychology and dangers behind pedophilia. Her account as a psychologist was the spread awareness about protecting kids from dangerous people.
I think this was an attempt at getting attention for herself. Everything about it screams “edgy” and it worked.
It’s like Gen Z (and the rest of folks falling for it) didn’t get exposed to the “Y’all n—-as posting in a troll thread” meme enough.

Returning the shopping cart is a good test for if a person is a decent human being or not. I will admit to not having returned carts at certain points in my life.

Her whole insta is about pedophiles, sexual abuse, etc. Its obviously her work focus and how she advertises herself. The post about the cart was just another in a chain about avoiding child predators.

Because I wouldn’t unless I was parked near the basket corral. Frankly, I’m not being paid to self-check out along with inflated prices. I’ll take the cart back if convenient, and usually do. But if I don’t, no cares. They are paid to work and can get it.
