WTH man? Are you hacking my YouTube account? I’ve been watching Emily D Baker for this one. I appreciate her approach to explain and not try to anticipate too much. I can see how she wouldn’t be everybody’s cup of tea. Something about Melanie Little rubs me the wrong way.
And I’m with you Rekieta. What a fall he has had. He was always a (mostly lovable) a-hole, but his coverage of those trials was great because of the other attorneys he had on. It was fun to get their different perspectives. I feel bad for his kids.

I watch Andrea Burkhart because she doesn't talk over testimony. My parents were in town a couple of weeks ago. to help me do some outside upgrades, and I made them watch her with me while I worked from home during the day. I had to go to Lowes one night and when I got home my dad mentioned watching LawyerYouKnow while I was gone. My mom also said she has always been pro-prosecution and this helped her look at her reasons for believing that.

Has there been any mention of what looked like an altercation between Higgins/Alberts and JOK a the bar? There’s a video with no sound of what looks like Higgins talking shite and pointing a finger at JOK multiple times as he leaves the bar. Are there no witnesses to verify this?

It's been mentioned. I don't think there's much more to it other than guys being dudes messing around at the bar.
The whole "Higgins wanted O'Keefe dead so he could get with Karen" argument does nothing for me, just like the "Karen was unhappy in the relationship so she wanted O'Keefe dead" argument does nothing for me as well. They are focusing on "proof beyond reasonable doubt" instead of the third party culprit aspect.

Agreed. My take this is all about the Alberts and their dipshit nephew. Also I would not rule out JOK's idiot brother.
There was some power play going on and JOK lost and KR was a good patsy. It seems it was somewhat premeditated too because they were relying on that storm to assist them.
I also do not think JOK is as wonderful as everyone says he was. I think if they dig into it after this trial they will find that he was trying to take power from the Alberts or was going to turn on them. The idiot brother going after KR to me seems like part of the cover up.
My 2 cents. We will see.

I understand what you’re saying but any guy who watches that recognizes its significance. He’s pointing his finger talking shite to someone multiple times the night someone dies and has to be somewhat held back. It’s by no means proof of some sort of conspiracy but it adds to the long list of reasons why anyone with half a brain should find reasonable doubt. I have no clue if she killed him or not but the list of things that say otherwise vs her running him over aren’t even close.

She didn’t
Brian Higgins was jealous and drunk. John kissed Karen on the forehead right in front of him minutes before the actions in that video. He wanted to confront John maybe rough him up. No one claims anyone had intentions to kill John o’Keefe and it was an accident. However, the cover up that followed was the real crime and will never be solved unless someone comes forward with the truth.

Dr. Wolfe just testified that not only was the outer lenses was broken but the diffusers under the outer lenses were also broken. John O’Keefe’s arm would not have broken those diffusers!

The judge won’t allow it but other witnesses have mentioned the FBI.
Brennan wants to make sure the trial is fair to the commonwealth, and the fbi hiring ARCCA could be prejudicial to the commonwealth

Because there is a worry that mentioning the FBI would open the doors to speculation on the federal investigation which no one knows to details to. I somewhat understand that reasoning, but the defense should 100% be able to make it clear that ARCCA was not originally hired by the defense.

I agree 110%. I don’t know if it was hubris or greed but I find it hard to believe that a seasoned defense attorney like Brennan couldnt see the holes in the case. Either he did and doesn’t care because of the pay day or he thought he could still outsmart it.

This testimony from Dr. Wolfe is blowing this case out of the universe. Welcher might say the Lexus is getting launched into space!
