Vinnie says it looks like something may be happening. He hasn't heard anything, but there's other movement. Some woman who is in touch with Karen Read is starting to take videos of the people gathering where the attorneys usually drive up. She hasn't said anything, though, per Vinnie.

That's really fricked up.

If they are only hung on that one lesser charge, but agree NG on the serious charges, the state can retry on the serious charges again?

Kosmos says they cannot based on his understanding, Wiseguy seems to think they can retry everything in Charge 2 again.

This is why the matter is messed up and Bev not answer that question to them a short time ago is fricked up too

They can try her 100 times, I can't see a jury unanimously convicting her of murder unless the 12 person jury is all police workers.

It's not the norm, but Rittenhouse was similar, as was Hannah Gutierrez-Reed and Baldwin was going down that road until the mistrial with prejudice.
The Chrisley's too were done in by corruption before Trump's pardon righted that ship.

I could be wrong, but it would definitely be appealed if they came back with that verdict. I would think there would be significant double jeopardy concerns with making a distinction like that.

She'll be able to pay them back 10-fold when this is all over with a book/documentary.

Vinnie says there's been an obvious increase in security in front of the courthouse. It's 3:30 there, though, and the attorneys were told to be in the courthouse each day by 4 pm before the judge releases the jury for the day or asks if they want to keep going.

Yes, see my post, 2nd one on Page 133, thats what they were asking.

They evidently know there was no collision, so thats why they asked it that way.

Defense team has arrived.

ETA: Karen Read did the heart sign, blew kisses and gave a thumbs up with a big smile.

Could be, but Vinnie says the increased security "may" indicate otherwise.

Yep and court adjourned for the day leaving early. Disappointing.

Thursday court is out. There was debate whether in the pretrial process of Friday was identified as an off day as well. Four days without deliberations would make this a total shite show.

Bev already has her weekend at the cape planned and she ain't about to let some trial get in her way.

It already is. And I'm only talking about the deliberation part, the whole trial itself not withstanding.

I mean, they could be hung on Motor Vehicle Homicide too, based on how they worded their 4th question.

Either way, Bev should have answer that question instead of saying she won’t respond to theoreticals
