Why to these post come around every year on the neighborhood apps. Does Karen really expect everyone to stop?

Here’s a recent Karen Facebook sighting about fireworks. She rolls in a lot of SJW into her post too... accused the guy of disrespecting veterans and autistic kids as well as committing the sin of being an “empowered man.”

Obviously they get no sympathy on the 4th and NYE. Those are national holidays that have been celebrated with fireworks for decades. That's not changing.
But I do think setting off your leftover fireworks a month later on a random Wednesday night in August is too much. At least people know they need to prepare and take precautions on the holidays, such as getting medicine for your dog, setting up noise machines for your babies, taking a pill for your ptsd, etc. But any other night is pretty selfish IMHO

I have had dogs and i also have 3 young kids and here is how i feel on it all.
Frick your dogs!! I love dogs but I’m not changing my life for someone’s pet. Give the MF’r a Xanax and they will survive.
Been through quite a few holidays with babies and we got through all the same and the kids slept just fine.
Veterans with bad PTSD already understand that and take appropriate actions on these holidays so the bangs and pows do not bother them. And yes, you are welcome for my service.
Quit having knee jerk reactions and quit being a bunch of little bitches

Fireworks on NYE, on 7.4 or even say after a big event (weddings, LSU wins, etc) is one thing but popping them randomly the days leading up to 7.4 or NYE or saving some for after the holiday is trashy AF.

I am not on any neighborhood apps..But my neighborhood has a facebook page..The Karens get on there and bitch, they are usually made fun of and just go away...

No rational person thinks that FB post will actually make a difference so that leave the other possibility. They don’t really want people to stop, they just want their “friends” to give them some victim points.
That’s what all this is about. All of social media. It’s about how many likes you can get. How many victim points you can generate. How many people you can get to agree with you. If you’re religious you can easily view this as a false idol. People are worshiping literally Facebook Twitter and Instagram.
