The boy starved to death. He had to beg and scrounge for food in his own home, on top of other types of torture. He was terrified of the people who were supposed to take care of him.

Horrible..... some people should not be allowed to reproduce...... how could they even think of doing something like this????? And he can get parole after 25 years?????? He won't make it that long in prison and should be put in solitary.....

That will work too. It just surprises me how many people think he's going to get street justice in prison. Unfortunately, he'll never spend a day in general population. On the bright side people do go insane in solitary so here's hoping that happens, at least.

And my day just got a little sadder...didn't need to hear about this.

Honestly, the likelihood that you could pair up two people with parallel mental disorders to this extent is pretty low. This is a sheer display of evil and callousness that has overtaken these two people. Everything about this reads as "evil", not "crazy".

That was my comment. The mom and grandmother are crying crocodile tears; but where the hell were they during what seems to be a lengthy, systematic torture.
Oh and this crime occurred in 2015; it's a sad reflection on our justice system that it took 2 years and a shite ton of money to bring this POS to justice. And now taxpayers have to support his sorry excuse of breath for probably another 30 years.
