I'm just sitting here and trying to imagine the terror and pain that little boy felt knowing the people he trusted the most betrayed him by doing the most evil and cruel things ever to him. It's heartbreaking.
The monsters who did this to him deserve to die a slow and painful death and then answer to God for their wicked and evil of heart deeds.

Usually I'm cool with a plea deal that gives life in prison, but they shouldn't have given that frick the possibility of parole. Frick that POS

1st, I just assumed Kansas didn't have the death penalty(they do--it was reinstated in 1994). So now, we have to assume that the bitch-arse prosecutor took the DP off the table in exchange for the guilty plea? frick that. No plea. I understand that sometimes you don't want to put the victim's family through that, but frick it, stay home until the verdict. The prosecutor has a duty to that little boy, the county this crime was committed in, the state of Kansas, and all of goddamn humankind. If we are going to have a death penalty, what could more obviously meet the standard? frick a plea. And then the possibility of parole? frick you. Surely there is more to this story, legally speaking.
That said, how fricking terrible must his biological mother be to 1) have actually let that monster inside her and 2) had him granted custody?
Honestly, this is the kind of shite that makes me seriously doubt the existence of God. Or at least any kind of conscious one that we can imagine. How many times do you think this terrified and confused little boy called out for God to save him, whether aloud or in his head? Crickets. But Bob down the street got that new promotion he's been praying for. Hallelujah! Praise Be!!

God needs to answer to that little boy.

Wow that's quite possibly the most horrible thing I ever read. Think I'm going to go hug my kids now.

It's a shame we can't just kill him.

No reason for that guy to still be alive. We've gone off the rails as a society of that guy doesn't get a swift, forced death.

There's nobody home in the either of those mugshots. It's all in the eyes. That horde of demons won't have another host to latch onto & their extistence will be blotted out forever with eternal suffering.

I was coming to post this same thought. How can something like this take place? I am sure there is an explanation or quote in the Bible that someone can bring up to try and explain it, but I just don't see how an all-knowing, all-powerful God would let a child get abused over and over again like this. You can look throughout history and see the stories of abuse and horrible things that have happened. Why would any of those things be accepted in the world? Sorry to hijack
