This is very true. They very well know the Yakuza exist but normal people won’t even acknowledge its existence outside of a private conversation. One on one with somebody who trust you, they will spill the beans, but besides that, japans face must be saved.

Yeah I lived with a Japanese family in Oita prefecture ( the mayor) so I learned enough to get around pretty well. I also had a car so I was able to explore a lot of small villages and places most people never see. I loved the cultural continuity , the way they have their feet rooted in tradition and it’s been hard to see that fade in the US.

Returned last week from Switzerland, beautiful place, beautiful people and very safe and clean. We did this to ourselves and until we have term limits and get rid of our greedy politicians it will not get better.

Also, you will not see trash anywhere, but you also won't see a trash can anywhere. They just...take there trash with them and throw it away at home.

One thing that blew my mind...
New York has around 25,000 restaurants. About 9 million people.
Tokyo has 13 million people and...160,000 restaurants. More than 6 times the amount of restaurants.
I don't know why but that was amazing to me.

Women were beautiful and all Dressed well and modestly too much make up though but a Japan 6 is an American 8.
All the white foreigners had the ugly women
Some looked at me but I’m a black American so I’m kind of rare around
