Water was freely available leading up to the freeze. 10 minutes flowing into a bathtub would have provided all that was needed to make it through.

If you are legitimately concerned, I live a county over. They can come get as much of my tap water as they want.

To be fair, I fill my bathtub up for every hurricane, but I didn’t think it was necessary for this. I ended up melting snow to have water to flush my toilet.

My mom is 67 and drives a 2020 Ram limited 4x4 She would roll out and drive to Tennessee if she needed to.

I have a son in The Woodlands and power was out and he had water.......in a few areas in his house. It was 50 degrees inside the house and some pipes did freeze, then burst.
