I never said I knew anything about JW - where do you even get that? Years ago, the JWs I worked with in the public sector told me they don’t believe in political or government stuff - I never asked because I didn’t care - I found it ironic they had Medicaid. Whatever. The woman at my door liked what I said about the Bible - and invited me - one of the JW churches in BR has a women’s ministry - so maybe that’s what she was speaking of (I looked it up)

Sorry you’re offended by something that doesn’t affect you. But just because you’re trying your best to find holes in my story doesn’t mean it’s a lie. Perhaps I was lied to.

Because you were literally bragging on a public forum about knowing more about the bible than someone who goes out door to door talking about the bible . You were trying to make yourself look smart. It's pretty easy to spot a lie when you make something up that doesn't exist.

but why even bother knocking on my door when I have a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary right there. Plus I’ve said time and time again I work for the church - not all Catholics are well versed in the Bible, but there are certain classes and certifications I have to get and do to keep my position - I would say I knew more than those two women who knocked on my door but that doesn’t mean I’m smart or better than anyone else, and that might not have been the case for the other doors they knocked on that day.

lol - I never said I wasn’t wrong and members get things wrong about their churches all the time - trust me I know (part of my job now is to correct incorrect beliefs) - but there are Reddit discussions, quora questions, and even a watchtower article about this ‘rumor’ that JWs don’t take government assistance

So somewhere along the way misinformation was spread - it happens. I’m sorry you are disappointed in your fellow JWs. I work with that disappointment daily.
