My very smart, immensely stubborn daughter took some courses through her church group on how to debate them. Two of them made the mistake of knocking on our door one day. I was like "I'm not gonna answer that". Daughter came joyfully bouncing down the stairs and ran to the door before they could escape.
Three hours later, both of them looked haggard and exhausted, but the daughter was just getting really spooled up.
They sent back some more experienced dudes to talk to her. She intellectually wore them out too. They've never come back.

the problem is that they dont operate off the same Bible. they act like they do, and it's pretty close, but when it comes down to it, you cant argue scripture with someone without at least arguing about the same scripture.
John 1:1 is probably the most obvious case in point here.

No JW church in it's history has ever had someone other than a JW give a talk at their services. So no Joe Blow of tigerdroppings is not the one guy in their 100+ years of going door to door that gets asked to talk at their service.

JW has the same stance as MAGA on social issues. Except they’re more likely to get a balanced budget through Congress.

Had two tree guys show up this week as Bertha was passing through. 1st guy didn’t even get out of his truck but sent his kid to my door. Douche wearing blinged jeans with unbuttoned shirt showing off the gold chain but wanting to get all snippy with me when I called him on his BS.
