Thank him for his service.

We need more men like him that are willing to sacrifice everything for our freedom.

I’ve been glued to the phone, waiting.

Send him some food and bulky items and crayons to snack on.

Just kidding. Congrats and good luck to your family and son. I have one in a different branch and it can be a little nerve racking when news breaks, I know it is his company by the hardware used and I can’t reach him.

If it moves, salute it. If it doesn't move, paint it.

You’ll never be able to have crayons around the house again. Congratulations.

Good for him for serving his country, but right at this second, I do not envy his position

You should be proud that you raised a son willing to take up the challenge.

. Write letters. Lots of letters. He’ll appreciate them.
Get on the proper FB pages. You’ll eventually see him...but they all look alike.

Enjoy your trip to graduation. It is an awesome experience.

Good time of year to do this. He won't melt in the Lowcountry SC humidity.

And remember, no news is good news. He may not write many letters. But you do. I sent four to five a week. Give him an escape for just a minute.
