5 years ago my father got diagnosed with mantle cell non hodgekins lymphoma. He was told to go home, make peace with the world, as there was basically a less than 5 percent chance he would live past 13 months. Well, five years later, my dad got told that he is no longer in remission; but is now in the cured stage with basically zero chance it will come back now.

To those who get told to just go home and make peace, that you have basically no chance to survive, never give up. You never know what tomorrow holds.

Tl;Dr, cancer is a count by my old man just kicked the shite out of it. Omw home now to take a shot on his honour as I won't get paid on see him til next week.

Congrats.

Just keep in mind that he didn't beat cancer alone - the most advanced medicine available was a vital partner.

Something to keep in mind when our insurance premium looks really high. It's high until you need it.

Haha oh hell get more than just a steak. I don't like to talk about such personal things even with close friends. But damn I couldn't be happier than I am now. The last 5 years have been rough as hell on him, and has put a lot of strain on our family but it's absolutely all worth it now. to you dad.

Absolutely. His original doctor told him to go make peace. Another doctor heard the situation and said frick that. Got in touch with some doctors in m d Anderson, told them about the 45 year old father of 4. The next week, my dad was on an airplane to Texas. M.d. Anderson just got a lifetime supply of donations from this guy.
