congrats, mine went through a similar program. I really don't know it makes much difference in the long run, but certainly doesn't hurt.
It definitely makes a difference in the long run. Because of job transfers my daughter didn’t get into the gifted program until 4th grade. She is now taking algebra 2 in 8th grade and will take Geometry and Trig in 9th grade.
Plus the kids she is around want to learn and challenge themselves.

But seriously, some of the people on here(not you) just live to be miserable. I take the people who made snide comments probably have wives who are either fat as frick or they are fatties themselves and have to project their low self esteem on others.
Wow, you really don’t like fat people, but what if they are in the gifted and talented program?

Just means she will be indoctrinated with CRT a year ahead of the other children

I was in the gifted program as a kid. I loved it because we got to leave class for a day, not do real school work, and just did puzzles and shite for a day.

Damn you baws still going on about this? Definitely the baws we see fighting at travel ball games.

Fancy way to say you didn't grow up in the gifted program. I've seen quite the array of burnouts produced by it.

No idea. We were bussed off campus to a different school. I assume they had to do real schoolwork rather than the puzzles and shite I was doing so I was happy.
