Probably shouldn’t. I’m an extreme critic.

Funniest I ever saw was I was on a flight - and I saw Ted Dibiase “The Million Dollar Man” flying coach / I was in college at the time - like 1992... so I got quite the chuckle out of the whole thing

I was also once at my Friday night dinner spot at the bar eating dinner before I went to my Friday night movie each week - and sitting next to me was Chris Penn - we chatted it up as were eating dinner solo - nice enough guy in the situation...

No Way Out was the first time I ever saw Kevin Costner in a film. It was good. His girlfriend in the movie was hot too.

It would have been impossible for me not to lead with, "I loved you in Ronnie Howard's Night Shift. Haven't seen anything since. Didn't you make a baseball picture? What was that like?"

I'll see that and raise you (albeit in support):

Godfather
The Conversation
Godfather II
Dog Day Afternoon
The Deer Hunter

(6 years, though)

In 8 years for Tom Hanks, it's even more absurd. I'm not saying all of these are my favorite films, but you cannot deny their cultural significance, critical acclaim, or his performances in them. Not to mention his range.

In order, earliest to latest:

A League of their Own
Sleepless in Seattle
Philadelphia
Forrest Gump
Apollo 13
Toy Story
Saving Private Ryan
You've Got Mail
The Green Mile
Cast Away

That's fricking crazy.

You should've told him to stop grabbing the saddle horn to get on a horse. And to tell everyone else in Yellowstone the same.

As someone who knows nothing about horses...why is this wrong? Genuinely curious not trolling.

They filmed the US Open scenes of Tin Cup in Kingwood, TX split between the actual Kingwood Country Club courses and Deerwood Country Club. It was the year I moved to Houston and most of my coworkers wives plus my wife (no pics, sorry) were in the film as extras. I can spot them on the various scenes they were in every time I watch it.

The entire cast all rented houses here and yes there were some pretty cool parties every night and the final party after shooting was pretty epic. It was nothing to see Don, Renee, Cheech, and Kevin out in public during filming.

Waterworld isn't the best movie ever made, but it's pretty damn entertaining.

I never understood the hate, not Oscar worthy (not that that matters anymore) but it was entertaining.

I think it got a bad reputation because it cost so damn much, they kept getting shut down by hurricanes or something.

Aside from Kevin Costner I really haven’t run into many famous people at all, maybe some athletes. Never had a bad encounter, Joe Horn and Devery Henderson, when I go visit in laws I’ve seen and talked to Karl Malone. I probably go to Ruston 3-4 times a year and it seems I see him every other time I go. He’s like your typical old black man “how you doin there son?” I drive an old nothing truck but he’ll still say “how you like that truck?” “She treat you good? Motor good?” “Yea son, take care of her” damn near every time Old black people are my favorite people, hard to find a nicer person

Maybe he’s different now but I played against KJ in middle school basketball all 3 years and everyone on our team that tried to go up to him said he was a total a-hole so I never even tried. No one held it against him and we actually thought it was funny and would joke around about it. It probably got annoying trying to watch his kids play basketball and having a dozen middle schoolers come up to him all the time so I understand it.

The saddle horn is for a rope. It's not a handle. When you grab it to climb on a horse, much of the time it pulls the saddle to one side, which makes it uncomfortable for the horse and the rider. You should also not grab it or hold it when you're riding.
