At first when I saw people claiming that Jussie and Kamala were connected on this, I assumed people were just really reaching and doing the most. The more I think about it, that really does not even sound that unbelievable anymore.
Honestly the fact that Kamala really said that statement really pisses me off. Maybe I'm a snowflake but that honestly does bother me. For me, it's like I know for a fact I have likely had ancestors who were lynched. My grandfather saw his best friend hung right in front of him when he was young. Real people died from this for no reason back in the day.
But even if hypothetically speaking this incident was real, Jussie literally went to the hospital for a freaking scratch on his fake. Jussie said that he didn't even realize the rope was around his neck until after the "attack". So, obviously they didn't try to tighten it or anything. So how in God's great green earth could this "attack" ever be comparable to the absolute torture black people used to suffer way back when.

Yes - lynching is already a crime- I guess it would be consisted assault and battery or something similar, but thus this bill elevates it to a federal crime.
The tie in is that Kamala and Jussie have a personal relationship and that the “attack”, according to the brothers, was supposed to happen by 1/29, which was when Kamala and Cory Booker’s anti lynching billl was proposed, if I recall correctly. And they both took to social media immediately connecting Smollett’s alleged attack to their bill, calling it a “modern day lynching”.

Yeah I agree, but for today I’m going to daydream that Smollett, Harris, and Booker orchestrated this and reached out to Kim Foxx to get her support and legal cover and the feds will have them all in cuffs by the end of the week.
What a wonderful dream. But alas, I’ll settle for federal charges against Smollett

TDS is a powerful thing. Look at Harvard educated Senator Squaw Elizabeth Warren. They are falling all over themselves to score political points against Trump. At this point, I’d be surprised if her and Booker weren’t involved in his elaborate ruse.

This started way before Trump. Go back to 2014-2015. This was a transition strategy/ get-out-the-minority-vote strategy for Hot Rod. Without a black candidate the dems were afraid the minorities wouldn't show up to vote. Then the monster just kept growing. This is all about he 2016 election. And now the 2020 election. They are legit trying to start a race war so they can get elected.

I’m just here to say that the fact this thread is still running strong makes me so damn happy.
