I certainly do. For the record, I am not a liberal, don’t support Harris, and knew this was bullshite from the start.

I can't be the only one who laughs/cringes every time someone says/writes "the brothers".

It’s crackpot, but it wouldn’t blow my mind if it were true.

Thank you for sharing that. I'm not going to go so far as to say there's no racism from whites to black that happens ever, because I simply do not believe that. But this visual that some like to go in making life more like "Mississippi Burning" than real life, is fricking ridiculous.

For starters, we live in a society that simply does not allow that to happen anymore. And that's a good thing. But let's pretend that an encounter in the street really happened, nobody is going to pull out a noose for Christ's sake. This isn't Roots. At worst, if Smollett got his arse beat in the street, somebody called him a f***** and a n*****. To say that somebody pulled out a noose and yelled MAGA is just a little stereotypical and cliche. Just a little... I mean, come on man. If you're gonna make up a story, at least make it believable.

And then this doofus just keeps on digging the hole deeper and deeper because he knows he's at the point of no return and has been outed. And frick anybody who is defending him and helping him dig his hole deeper. They are only adding to it.

It's like the kid who forgot to bring home his homework and when parents confront him on it, the story just keeps getting more and more elaborate while the parents are sitting back in amazement to see how far the kid will go with the story. Now we have the kid's friends joining in (adamantly) to help him and come up with other parts of the story.

Kamala Harris and her anti lynching bill

I've seen this mentioned a couple of times here. What is this about.

Correct me if I'm wrong now, but I am like 99.99999999999% sure lynching someone is already illegal, as it is murder. are we supposed to look at lynching someone differently than if they shot the person, or stabbed them, or beat them with a baseball bat, etc. Murder is murder.

Also, I may be wrong, but has there even been a lynching in recent decades? I really want to know. I know there are still some lil Klan organizations here and there in some hillbilly towns. But even they are basically obscure and don't do much of any action anymore.

The running theory is that there are a lot of unrelated things included in the bill that are far more nefarious than taking a stand against lynching. The lynching part was just a cover for god knows what else she and Booker hid in the bill's text.

She and booker wanted to pass some anti lynching law. Basically just feel good legislation because no one gets lynched anymore anyway. This way they can say they did something rather than be complete government tit suckers.

It wasn’t really getting the attention.

Jussie is friends with Harris

After the attack both Harris and Booker tweet about it being a modern day lynching

Could you imagine the trolling Trump would do if Harris gets tied to this????

More members of majority black and Latino gangs than there are KKK left. Now the gangs aren't going around hanging people, but they do rape and kill. Not much difference imo.

What an article there. frick civil rights if it’s the Orange Man responsible for it. I guarantee you if Trump legalizes weed, ends the War on Drugs, and releases all non-violent drug offenders that CNN, Hufffington Post, Vox, and others of their ilk will vehemently denounce it. God forbid Trump try to make innocents lives better and safe, because if he does, he might be re-elected. Better for minorities worldwide to be lynched and people to be falsely incarcerated than for Trump to be President for two more years.

Trump is right about the Fake News and it will get him re-elected. Bunch of fricking hypocrites that have no principle besides everything the Orange Man does is evil. Bunch of pussy narcissists that are smugly destroying the country from their skyscrapers in New York.

And I don’t get the term “hate crime”, especially when it comes to murder. In order to murder someone, you typically have to really hate them to the point you’ll take the risk of getting raped in prison. How was OJ murdering Nicole and Ron Goldman not a hate crime?

I didn't respond to this guy standing outside the gas station. He called me a racist, I said nah, just not giving you change. Funny, when I ignore a white bum, they don't call me racist.

Well, that would be the point of the attack. What better way to get your lynching bill through than have it happen to a celebrity when it's coming up, and then make sure everyone uses the "it's a modern day lynching" language in their chatter around it.
