Good. I'd love to see someone with the nuts to put up a candidate that doesn't pander to the far left/right base. Agreed Harris is about as out there as it gets.

For the sake of the United States, I pray Harris and Booker are not involved. To be clear, I am a Trump supporter and the left drives me crazy. However, what is the future of this country going to be like if our elected officials are doing this type of shite?

All the Tea Party marches and protests and what not. I would wager that there's more going on now though with Trump in office (for whatever reason).
My dad was one of those "its the end of the country as we know it" guys when Obama was elected, just like the idiots on MSNBC when Trump got elected.
We made it through Obama intact, just like we'll make it through Trump intact. Both sides just go nuclear when the other side wins with the sky is falling stuff.

There were a few big marches by these guys in 8 years. There are anti Trump marches monthly in major cities. The media went out of their way to paint the tea party folks as white supremacists and have gone out of their way to paint today's protestors as the cornerstone of a disappearing democracy

And how did those Tea Party protests go down? Mostly older folk, holding signs, sitting on lawn chairs with a clear message about taxation. They picked up their chairs, they picked up their trash, they threatened no violence, they committed no violent acts, they did not cover their faces.
They also got people elected, some of whom turned into typical, Washington D.C. elitists.

The Tea Party wasn't directed at Obama specifically. It was pretty much a shotgun blast at massive government spending, hence the "Taxed Enough Already" acronym. Granted Democrats were the primary target, but Republicans got caught up in it as well, which led to primary losses for quite a few establishment Republicans.
