Apparently they made more per game then the men did. They are saying they would make more if they had the structure of the men’s deal. But they agreed to a deal in their CBA that benefited them at the time with more guaranteed money. Now that a different deal structure would benefit them they want to try to claim they were paid unfairly. All that protesting was a big lie.

I believe their pay was also guaranteed unlike the men. Their league was also subsidized by US soccer.

Yeah it was guaranteed. It benefit them at the time they signed the deal but now they would make more money with the men’s structure. So basically they are saying they should be able to restructure their contract anytime to make as much money as they want.

I really enjoy the women’s soccer team. This is disheartening to hear. They deserved to be paid on performance, if they didn’t believe in themselves back then to gamble on themselves, then that is the deal they signed and agreed to. As much as I support them, the truth should be known.

They’re way overpaid. The only reason their professional league doesn’t fold is because the federation keeps it propped up. In a free market they would be in trouble
