Did she seem confused or even a bit mad with you when you said you were gonna get going?
And did it affect the way you guys interacted at work after that? Or it was never mentioned again?
Sometimes they can have wounded pride and try to make your life difficult after that.

No she was like "well, okay" because I think by then she realized I wasn't getting the message or wasn't interested

20 years ago one of the directors for my company was a smoke show blonde. Apparently her and her husband were swingers. She had small boobs and then all of a sudden one day she showed up with some good bolt on cannons. The VP and director I reported to looked at each other the first meeting they had with her and looked at each other with dropped jaws.
