I don't care about death jokes during a roast, but the actual celebration of Kirk's death by some people bugs the shite out of me.
I got on YouTube last night and saw a Ted Danson interview of Valerie Bertinelli and thought, why not? Always loved Valerie since I was a kid. About 10-15 minutes in Donald Trump's name comes up and she says she had stopped drinking but would open some champagne if... the inference being him getting assassinated.
I don't give two shits about anyone's politics, but this mindset is disgusting and a sad reflection on where a swath of society's minds and morals are.

It is actually the opposite; they have gotten bigger. I thought the Friars Club folding would be the end, but the roasts of Tom Brady and Kevin Hart sold out The Forum and got large audiences online despite being 3 hours long.

If anything cupcake that proves we need more humor... You know how some people deal with trauma? Humor. Police for example, they see a lot of shite and they depend on humor to get them through it. If you don't like it that's one thing, but saying it must be stop is idiotic.

These roasts seem to get a pass on jokes that in any other forum would get you cancelled. It's like an homage to the old Dean Martin roasts where pretty much anything goes.
