Nah JnJ is not mRNA. Neither is Sputnik or Oxford.

No shite. All the anti covid people here who love to scream that covid isn’t a big deal because so relatively few people who get it die will be the first people screaming that vaccines aren’t safe now because 6 out of 7 million developed the blood clots.

It’s not just these women. They have had people passing out and getting carted off after receiving this vaccine on a couple of different occasions. It’s about time they shut the J&J vacc down.

My wife passes out from giving blood, should we shut down giving blood too?

I’m not pro anything here, but let’s at least be objective.

Out of 34 million people who received the vaccine in Britain, the European Union and three other countries, 222 experienced blood clots that were linked with a low level of platelets. The majority of these cases occurred within the first 14 days following vaccination, mostly in women under 60 years of age.

222/34,000,000=0.00065294% or 1 in 170,000. To put this in college football terms, if you had a packed William Bryce Stadium and a packed Jordan Hare Stadium and everyone got the J&J vaccine, the odds say 1 person would have blood clots from it.

Not saying there aren’t more people with these side effects and that we don’t need to study why these side effects occurred, but that’s a very low percentage

Apparently it was a little more serious than just passing out.

So that means 0.00015% of the 4M doses given

About the same death rate as Covid for people under 65.

That is less than the rate of clotting in the general population, so if you want to make any inference, it would be that the vaccine prevents clotting

I'd be willing to bet every one of these women were on birth control at the time, with a high likelihood that they also smoke as well...

is this the same type of overreaction that was demonstrated by our government from the virus with a 99.3% survivability rate?

And it was all women. Wonder if those women smoke? Reason I ask is the risk for blood clots in women that take birth control pills and smoke. OB/GYNs will usually not prescribe birth control pills to you if you tell them you are a smoker.

I predicted this on another board. The J&J vaccine is the traditional vaccine. They don’t want you taking that one. They want you to take the mRNA vaccines. Hence, all the bad press lately and now this after a mere handful of problems compared to the other two.
