Daddy was a Cajun, raised on Southern land And so my kinfolks tell me, was a street-fightin' man. Well, they rushed him down to see the doctor "Hey doctor, won't you check his head?" The only thing that was wrong with him Was Johnny Walker's Red. He drank ole poison whiskey 'Til it killed him dead.

Isn't it really expensive?

I got treated to a coupla shots in a bar many years ago, and it seemed high-end.
I'm not a Scotch guy, but it was really smooth.

It was high end in the 1970's. Black was really smooth. Plastic is for water bottles. Haven't drunk it in 47 years. Got married.

Dear Mr 20 for the hand 20 for the truck potato face there has been zero discussion of whiskey in this thread thus far. It is a thread about whisky.

I mean if you like notes of sulfur, iodine, and tar Laphroaig should be right up your alley.

If you prefer the real taste of the water of life leave the isles and bogs and get to the Speyside.

Johnny Walker sat at a table in a bar
Minding his own affairs
Drinking his namesake over the rocks
He was drunk, too drunk to care
When a girl from the bar walked up beside him
And this is what she said

She said, a woman came by with a letter for you
And this is what the letter said

Dear John, please, Johnny, please come home
I need your love and the kids, they gotta be fed
And John, if you don't hurry back I'll be gone
Yes, that's what the letter said
The letter that Johnny Walker read

I don’t know if that is 100% true. The Jim Bean Traveler 750 was the greatest invention ever to bring to sporting events and concerts.
