Yeah, I'm the one that's wrong for not jumping on John Cena for issuing a statement that was required by the studio/Hollywood elites. The problem is the industry, not an ex-wrestler turned actor. Canceling Cena does nothing to address the root of the problem. They would just plug in another actor if he was the reason their movie was banned in China where the previous movie made $400 million

And it will continue as long as people like Cena or take your pick of any other high profile figure, using figure because he’s not a high profile actor at all - his fame is wrestling almost exclusively, continue to not take a stand they can easily afford to take.
You can replace Cena in a movie because he’s not a big movie star. You can’t replace the Rock or a few of the avengers because they are so big the damage to whatever film would be way too significant. No one wants to see some no name bastard playing iron man. RDJ is Iron Man and a replacement won’t be accepted nearly enough for the movie to remain a billion dollar movie.
Prime example, I bet the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie will bomb in comparison to the rest of the franchise without Johnny Depp.
