New article out on nola.com from Ian McNulty about Besh opening a new riverfront restaurant in New Orleans.

Went into detail, again, on the allegations against him and quoted some of his former employees:

“Am I surprised by John Besh trying to creep back into the public eye and do his redemption tour? Sadly no. More disgusted and disappointed,” Lindsey Reynolds, a former Besh Restaurant Group employee who spoke out about sexual harassment in the 2017 investigation, said in a statement.
She sees an effort to sweep bad behavior under the rug, and blamed “the New Orleans good ole’ boys club” and local media in its coverage of BRG restaurants.

What exactly is she expecting here? The guy admitted what he did was wrong and apologized. It no doubt had a, rightful, serious effect on his finances.

What am I missing here? I assume he would have been prosecuted if there was truly criminal behavior? Should we have tarred and feathered him?

I miss his old restaurant Borgne that was in the Hyatt.

It was a very good restaurant.

The restaurant industry seems like the greatest job in the world. Plenty of hot chicks around, I would assume all the beer you can drink, and every time you go out of business there’s always someone willing to give you money to open up a new restaurant

Nothing is ever enough for these losers.

If you are from the New Orleans area and have the slightest clue this would be very difficult. He got quite famous.

If not and don't pay attention to the celebrity chef stuff, I guess you wouldn't have

I was about to say something similar.
For these people, the person is guilty for the rest of their days, no exceptions. They may not earn a living, they may not redeem themselves, they may not again be productive members of society.

But when THEY are caught in bad behavior, it's all dismissed, it's all forgiven because they believe in the correct socio-political stances.

The handmaids don’t realize that they have become the protagonists in their own handmaid’s tale.

It's real easy, if you still are pissed at Besh don't go to his restaurants. The problem for women like this is that the vast majority of the fine dining public do not care at this point.
