I played a little game. I placed even odds on whether that story would somehow work in the term climate change. In my mind I said yes. I would've won

quote:

An analysis from the World Weather Attribution, a group of researchers that studies extreme weather events, found this summer's extreme temperatures around the world would have been "virtually impossible" were it not for human-caused climate change. That's something people in Louisiana will have to deal with, Edwards said.

In Metry, it's rained 3 out of the past 5 or so days. A couple of hard rains, too.

Ohh. I forgot. Its a party thing, if he was Republican it would be a message just so people can be aware and don't burn shite up, but he is Democrat so everyone is suppose to think its a terrible idea. You people are simple.

Pay attention to not just what is said, but when it is said.

The good guv'nuh couldn't be bothered to give a shite when drought and wildfires raged out West. Now, he's eaten up with concern. Of course, part of that is natural given that it is now on his doorstep, but there are clearly other motivations at play. I'll leave that speculation to others.

The point remains, that as a country, this fire season is well below normal in regards to acreage burned, around normal for number of fires, and has seen a huge percentage of the fires that have been reported directly linked to human cause.

So, carry on cocksucker JBE, be slimy whilst you have the best shot at something to gain, but try not to play everyone for a fool.

The sign in I10 in BR said “hot and dry conditions don’t mix well with fire”. So the govt apparently doesn’t understand how hard it is for fire to exist in cold and wet conditions. Not taking their advice on BBQ, they seem to have a hard time grasping what “mix well” means.

Man, I was going to grill a few steaks. I guess I won’t now.

Yeah right, because everyone knows grills start forest fires

I got a speeding ticket just looking at that.

I will be grilling while wearing a mask and drinking Bud Light. Authorities will have no idea what to do with me.

They had a guy at Lafreniere park barbequing in the back of his diesel truck on Monday. Pit took up the whole bed.
