Massino was the first (and only?) Boss to ever turn state's evidence against his own family.
Surely this man is not going to be seeing St Peter lol. If he isnt going to hell for his lifetime of crime and murder, he's definitely going for betraying everyone he knew, Worst of both worlds.

Pieces of shite like him go to hell for the life he lived. I’m pretty sure snitching on other pieces of shite doesn’t make it worse. It would make it better if anything. At least he confessed and got all those other assholes off the street.

Even worse is the government gives these suckers a fresh start, protection, housing, travel, living expenses and all kinds of other perks.

Yeah maybe you are right. Perhaps he redeemed himself by getting those other killers away from the public? either way this man is burning in hell. Mafia romanticism aside, these guys are fricking scumbags who prey on people.

That decrepit old fat dago frick lived 19 years after this picture was taken? There is hope for me yet.

To keep his name out of conversations that could be bugged, Massino asked that fellow gangsters refer to him only by tugging on their ears, a gesture that earned Massino the moniker “The Ear.”

Just like the illegals crossing the border everyday.

Oddly enough his death was originally announced by Skinny Joey Merlino, former boss (some say current) of the Bruno Crime Family in Philadelphia. Apparently he has a gambling podcast.

Newport, as far as they came into KY during Prohibition. They may have gotten their booze from the state but were smart enough not to mess with the hill folk or their territory.

There is but one unforgivable sin and that’s rejecting God. He can be in heaven if he truly repented. Do not limit God or his mercy for all of us sinners.
Now at face value, the sins he accrued in the Mafia would appear damning if unforgiven, but he didn’t rat out his family, in fact his cooperation allowed his wife and mother to keep their homes. He testified about crimes committed by his mafia associates. And that is not a sin. In fact it’s a good thing unless your in second grade or the mafia.

Not only that, but I’m sure most of the crimes committed were against others in the mob.

Only leverage the government has. To break up the mafia you needed a carrot to dangle. Only RICO laws and witness protection opened their mouths.

Yeah, but they’d rather give one guy leniency to take down a whole family.
