Former President Jimmy Carter was admitted Monday night to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta ahead of a procedure to relieve pressure on his brain, the Carter Center announced in a statement posted to Twitter.

The pressure was caused by bleeding from his recent falls, the center said.

Carter, 95, will undergo the procedure Tuesday morning. LINK

Pressure on the brain is not good at any age.

That’s never good news regardless of age but 95 is up there.

I’ll pray for the old man. Hated his politics but with little exception he’s been a good ambassador for the United States as an ex president. As most are.

Ginsburg and Carter would survive a nuclear winter at this point

He truly is a good man. Same will be said about GWB as both are better men than presidents.. I hope he keeps on trucking as he’s shown such a fighters attitude in his late life and hope he can go when ready

Hands down one of the absolute worst presidents in our history. But he’s a good and honest man, a true humanitarian.

Wasn't he still building houses for Habitat for Humanity ver recently?
Probably not cut out to be a President, but definitely a true and honest hard working man.

Carter is one tough mother. Father time is undefeated, though, and Carter is 95 years old.

I truly hope he holds father time off again. He's a good man

Glad this thread isn't on the poli board. Less vile comments against the former President humanitarian and veteran here.
