It’s obvious that LBJ, the mafia, the CIA, the Russians, and the Cubans all conspired to take out Kennedy.

You've left out one group.

Oy vey, I've said too much already.

Been thoroughly proven many times Oswald acted alone. People don’t want to believe it though for a variety of reasons.

The truth is never as interesting as bullshite.

If some shadowy "deep state" really wanted Oswald dead after he killed Kennedy, then they would've simply Epstiened him.

what are the reasons people want to believe in the conspiracy?? I’m waiting for concrete answers.

Truth is never interesting as bullshite - but you have to admit there were a lot of ‘coincidences’ that took place.

And had Ruby not shot him, he would've stood trial and gone to prison.

When I was in school at LSU in 90's I worked at a department store. My manager attended SMU when JFK was killed. He told me a story once that the night of the assassination he and some buddies were in a diner downtown. It was them and only one other customer sitting in a booth. Back then they had evening papers and one of his friends had one that they were reading about what had happened, they were hard to find copies. The other diner walked over and asked if he could look at the classifieds, they gave them to him. He took them and few minutes later brought them back. Few minutes later he came back and asked for it again....he did this like 3 times. The last time he told them thank you and that if they were ever downtown to come be a guest at his club...it was Jack Ruby. Curious if he was looking for instructions in the classifieds.

Ok. Now let's all just take a moment and think this shite through a little.

Some shadowy, deep state cabal of hidden and powerful actors decide they want a sitting US President dead at the height of the cold war. Or maybe it's not the deep state but more like a consortium of mob bosses who don't want to be fricked with by the President's brother. If not them, then the KGB.

Anyway, it doesn't frickin' matter who or why. What matters is this...No one in their right fricking mind would put it in the hands of someone as dipshitty as Oswald, in a situation that had little chance of success.

Oswald, like all assassins got just close enough to get lucky.

Check out the book Camelot and the Cultural Revolution by James Pierson. The book's theory is that the fact that Camelot was brought down by a communist was too much cognitive dissonance for the left, which felt it was on the cusp of greatness. Hence the conspiracy theories, etc.

"Lincoln" and "Kennedy" each have seven letters.

Both presidents were elected to Congress in '46 and later to the presidency in '60.

Both assassins, John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald, were born in '39 and were known by their three names, composed of fifteen letters.

Booth ran from a theater and was caught in a warehouse; Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.

Both of the presidents' successors were named Johnson and born in '08.

Both presidents were shot in the head and on a Friday.

Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy who warned him not to go to Ford's Theatre. Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln who warned him not to go to Dallas.

Both Oswald and Booth were killed before they could be put on trial.

E. Howard Hunt made a deathbed confession to his son. He was one of the three men in raincoats spotted by the railroad tracks.

Your talking about cord Myer. I've been down this rabbit hole for years. I don't think the world is flat. We did land on the moon. But if Lee Harvey did do it, he was was not alone. On YouTube, there is a old interview with Johnson's mistress. She was with him at a meeting the night before. She didn't attend, but waited outside. When he came out, he said after tomorrow, I don't have to worry about the fricking Kennedys anymore. He hated the Kennedys.

There was no grand governmental conspiracy with Boothe, Hinckley, Schrank or any of the others, there never is with this sorta thing. But just because frickin' Oswald called himself a "patsy" and was killed by a strip club owner who tossed off to Jackie O, we got ourselves some bullshite conspiracy that will never die.

You skipped over some stuff but sure that’s it.

No doubt he was.

We all know these well organized, well funded conspiracies rely on people in a diner to lend a paper to their hitman so he can finish the job.

The wave of internet detectives and true crime pods and all that non sense says otherwise.

This is such a bs take.

Truth is stranger than fiction.

Ok.

Hinckley shoots Regan. Regan lives. Hinckley goes to the nut hut. Story over.

Now imagine this. Same exact situation except...Regan dies and Hinckley finds a way to kill himself in custody.

Now let us all have loads of fun making up believable conspiracies about who really killed the greatest President in my lifetime.

The truth is always more boring than bullshite and the truth is that Hinckley (dead or alive) was a disaffected dipshit, just like Oswald.
