The HSCA completed its investigation in 1978 and issued its final report in 1979, which concluded that Kennedy “was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy.”

Based solely on debunked audio evidence from a police microphone that a) actually didn't capture gunfire and b) the time frame was a minute and a half after the shooting.

They were about to close the investigation with the conclusion that the Warren Commission was correct until that audio tape was presented without being thoroughly vetted.

So debunking the Warren Commission is bullshite, but debunking the corrected version is the gospel.

Got it.

I'll be sure to come to you when trying to decide which government lie to believe.

The Warren commission was solely provided information that the CIA allowed them to review and was compromised form the get go. This is all well documented. George Ionnaides played them (the few non compromised members) like a fiddle. They had no idea about things like Amspell, etc You’re a moron.

https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKjoannides.htm

“It was only after his death that it was revealed that Joannides was in contact with Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil (DRE) in 1963. G. Robert Blakey, chief counsel of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, was furious when he discovered this information. He issued a statement where he said: "I am no longer confident that the Central Intelligence Agency co-operated with the committee.... I was not told of Joannides' background with the DRE, a focal point of the investigation. Had I known who he was, he would have been a witness who would have been interrogated under oath by the staff or by the committee. He would never have been acceptable as a point of contact with us to retrieve documents.”

So, one committee that has already "investigated" the matter. We've probably had another couple of them since then, and we have this one now headed by the good looking woman. Gotta make sure the info that is released is exactly as they need it to be.

This will not quell any of the conspiracy bullshite or definitively answer any questions.

Can you point to what was debunked in the Warren Commission, aside from the path of the 2nd bullet based on their idiotic overlooking of the configuration of the limo?

She is the Head of JFK Files - Task Force. She has more documents to review before allowing the public to see the files.

Why? Why is a task force needed to review these files before public release?

All popular speculation has been misfocused. It's so easy to understand the JFK hit by knowing a lot about each of the players.

Allen Dulles - CIA chief that JFK fired.
George HW Bush - covert CIA agent who later became CIA chief.
George De Mohrenschildt - Russian emigre oil man and CIA asset Oswald handler.
Michael Paine - Bell Helicopter scion who Oswald lived with.
Ruth Paine - USAID (CIA) - Spouse who gave Oswald the schoolbook depository job.
Harold Byrd - Texas oilman who relocated his schoolbook depository to Dealy Plaza.
Earle Cabell - Dallas mayor brother of CIA deputy director Charles Cabell.

Speculative guess - Who fired the fatal bullet? Félix Rodríguez

George De Mohrenschildt, Sam Giancanna, Charles Nicoletti, and Johnny Roselli all died days prior to testifying before the House Committee. George “committed suicide” per his family over guilt in his role as Oswald’s handler. The other three were murdered. Two were allegedly involved in the hit in some fashion.

The only real question is why we killed him.

Was a serious security risk
Bay of pigs shite
Mafia shite
Was going to disclose UFO shite
All of the above.

I would have signed off on the assassination two at the time.

The the pilot for the second assassin was definitely from Louisiana

Gary Cornwell’s book goes into the acoustic evidence as he was general counsel for the House Committee.

Buy this book

Cornwells’ book takes you through it.

George De Mohrenschildt

Like everybody else, I’ve been reading online
shite about the assassination for years. This is a name I don’t think I’ve read.

This dude’s wiki alone makes it pretty clear to me some frickery was at play.

I just came up with a theory. The FBI and/or CIA knew Oswald was going to take a shot. They also judged it extremely unlikely he would succeed. Like 0%. So they let him go toward it and watched to gain intel, and then planned to benefit from the unsuccessful attempt.

But somebody else was aware and they made sure Kennedy was popped. And the coverup has been about hiding what we knew but also because the “somebody” was good enough that we couldn’t figure out, or we knew who it was but doing anything about it wasn’t worth it for various reasons.
