I mean other than running a religious school and supporting Trump what did this guy do to deserve his personal life dragged through the papers?

Merely hinting at the existence of an ideal other than fully indulging one's basest desires seems to earn you the full scrutiny of the media nowadays.

All I see is an imperfect man who'd probably tell you, in his honest moments, that getting drunk and busting your skull open isn't a good way to live. And he'd mean it sincerely, and we ought to listen to that advice- not throw it out because he didn't follow it to the letter every day of his life.

These things used to be almost universally acknowledged.

Yeah. Read up on him. He was coloring a little farther outside of the lines than that.

So because his dad is a preacher it’s normal for the huffington post to be using foia to get access to 911 calls? Doesn’t that sound a little overboard and obsessed to you?

Heck from everything I’ve read about the guy it’s always been known that he’s the black sheep of the family as they say and never wanted to be a preacher etc and only got thrust into this role because as the attorney he was the only one who could handle running a university.

What did people expect? Him to tear down all the religious background and rules that the school was built on and that it’s students intentionally sought out just because he didn’t personally live by them?

This ole boy publicly sought the role as the leader of evangelicals in the US. He was overtly political, and he never shied away from the public eye.

I’d say he put himself in this position.

Countdown until a sob story "devil has control of me" statement. We all know it's coming, and there are people who will believe that BS. Religion, man

I think he’s going to turn out to be an alcoholic. Then it’s going to just get sad and weird.

The Devil is a two-handed monster who had one hand on Jerry and one hand one the pool boy’s cock guiding it into Jerry’s wife while he watched and enjoyed it.

Mine don't. I have one that does and one that doesn't on each door. That's pretty common.

I'm amazed how many people were stumped by that one. He obviously locked the deadbolt or safety latch so she'd have to ring the doorbell whenever she tried to slip in. My parents loved playing that game when I was a teenager.

Of course, we're talking to a bunch of rednecks who probably just opened the screendoor to find their parents passed out drunk on the floor whenever they came home.

The irony of course is that homes with a deadbolt that isn’t unlocked by key are located in less than desirable neighborhoods

Yeah, people only rob ghettos. No need for security if you live in a nice neighborhood.
