Lmao, mask mandates are nothing more than government control.

If you want a shot or to wear a mask, then fine, but mandating them is nothing more than allowing the governement to control you.

Why? Lots of people like me have taken our business on the weekends to Metairie.

Haven’t watched an LSU game at a bar in new orleans since the national title game. Just been meeting people in Metairie instead.

I have a feeling Sheng would love to go farther but the JP council will hold her back.

Weird timing that JP is saying this now and some Orleans private schools are lifting the mask mandate.

My son plays bball at a Metairie playground and last night there were maybe 1-2 out of 30 there wearing a mask. I live in Orleans so as i'm walking up to the door i'm putting on my mask and my wife looks in and takes hers off and says no one is wearing them.

Hoping my daughters Orleans parish private school lifts their mask mandate today, following others that did it yesterday.

I'll be putting this to the test at Johnny Bright tomorrow

I can see them being dicks about it since that is also the main testing site for the eastbank of JP.

I've attended lots of b-ball games at Bright over the past few years. Never had anyone ask me to wear a mask, even during previous periods of this ridiculous hysteria.

I heard St. Pius, Christian Brothers, and Jesuit did. I believe St. Dominic still had it as of yesterday. No idea about BM or the Catholic girls HSs.

I'm told Brother Martin kept it even though apparently Orleans parish lifted it for public schools.

Cyndi has to tread carefully. Half of Kenner wants to be Parish President. But then she's watching that redistricting closely. She'd love the be a new "majority minority" representative in Congress.

first week of girls bounce ball last fall I show up and everyone was wearing them except me. Each week thereafter, less and less people did until it was eventually everyone but one asian chick

I think it will be playground specific. They all will put up a sign but many won’t police but there will be some that police the heck out of it.

Starting 12/29 you had to wear masks to visit the EBR library …

True about BM. They are saying they have like 6 teachers and 30 something kids out with covid related issues so they want to keep the mask a while longer.
I'm sure they feel the need to do it for optics at the moment, but I bet within a few weeks they will drop it.
I'm just shocked Orleans lifted the mask mandate for schools.

Feds are leaning on people, just like they said they would do. Using force or money to influence decisions.

Yep. Beware the Looney Toons girls program director at Pontiff. She lives on a power trip.

Is her name Michelle? If so, that woman has the personality of a door knob and regularly excludes girls from other playgrounds on travel teams she coaches.
