Sounds like maybe the girl convinced her friend/boyfriend to murder one of her family members.

Pretty much.

Why she wanted her aunt killed is a little fishy unless she thought she would inherit something from her.

This isn’t like “kill my uncle, Chester the Molester.”

Will Sutton of The Advocate has called young thugs like this one "victims, too" & blames crimes like this on addiction.

How to say “shooter was black” without saying “shooter was black” - that the shooter was a victim too.

with it clearly being premeditated?

That doesn’t make it 1st degree. There is no premeditated murder in LA statutes

So why don’t the people with money put an end to it? It’s already moving in to the “nice” areas and one of them will eventually catch a bullet.

The “people with money” cause this shite by funding the mayoral campaigns of the ones that bring the city down

And then they buy the criminals bikes and brag about it on billboards

If they are letting children decide to mutilate their bodies at this age or younger, it's time we allow them to be adults in all areas.

It's ridiculous the age of these people doing the killing these days.
Back when I was 16 I don't even think I was capable of trying to kill anyone or had the access to obtain or buy a gun.

Then please explain why it doesn’t qualify under:

quote:

(4) When the offender has specific intent to kill or inflict great bodily harm and has offered, has been offered, has given, or has received anything of value for the killing.

seeing as we’d assume she gave something in order for the other person to go ahead and commit the crime? And same would apply to him too, no?

If there’s a loophole preventing this then maybe that should be a focus of our elected officials as premeditation seems to come into play far too often here.

I lived in the woods during hunting season from 11 until I started chasing 2 legged deer.

Access to guns and ability to use then were not reasons for me NOT to kill people.

Value of life was the reason...something sorely lacking nowadays.
