Putin
Bill Browder makes a pretty decent argument for this and was saying Putin was worth about $200 billion two years ago. It would be interesting to see what that number really is today.

It is invested. He owns the controlling interest in AMZN equity. His net worth is tied directly to the Amazon stock price.
This isn't liquid wealth.

I know people joke about "Such and such has more money than they could ever spend.." but seriously, how could you spend 190 billion dollars?
A reasonably sized frick off personally army with fancy toys is the only way I can see it.
And hookers. All the hookers.

Bezo's story should be taught to all American children and adolescence. He is the frickin epitome of the American dream and busting your arse to change the world and what it takes to make your mark on this country and society.
unfortunately he's be ridiculed and criticized for being "too wealthy"

I have asked the Government for a grant of $200,000,0000,000 to write a study on if that is too much money to spend, and it's psychological effects on myself and those around me.
A sub study will be how my wealth may impact the lives of those with less fortunate means.

While I don't like him being ridiculed for being "too wealthy", his parents were his first investors in 1995 for roughly $380k in today's dollars. Not exactly attainable for everyone

Another fun fact is that 13 billion dollars is more than the entire Federal budget for a day
He could have funded the country that day

If he had access to legal purchases of tanks, fighter jets, naval ships, bombs, etc he could take his money and Amazon’s yearly profits and have a top 10 military in the world and keep it funded. Hell maybe 3rd biggest.

In my mind, his morning routine is like Prince Akeem in Coming to America.

Because you can do or buy anything you want.
I would personally use it to bribe and set up my own training range in Africa somewhere and have the best gun range in the world with a fully stocked military armory and fighter squadron for the boys.

And there’s plenty of (mostly young) people who think he didn’t work for it or earn his wealth either. That’s the mindset that they have, if he didn’t stuff every box or write every line of code or what have you that he didn’t earn it.
