This right here. This is why Jeep owners are lumped together now days and are generally looked down upon by other men.
“Jeepers”

I don't think these people calling Jeep owners gay realize what kind of cheat code simply having a jeep and not being a weirdo was in college
"Sorority girls like them" oh no, how awful
My roommate in college had a Jeep. Not going to lie…it did grab attention from some girls…for about 5 minutes. Then I pulled up in a Ford Escort and stole all that attention just by being better looking and a more interesting person.
Cheat code…good lord.

Must have missed the "not being a weirdo" part in my post, which going by your obsession with what vehicle other people choose to drive probably rules you out

Why does a person taking off the jeep doors upset people?
It definitely does not upset me. I definitely know that above 55 mph it sucks arse. Just take the top off and roll your windows down like a normal person.

It's hard to keep older Jeeps driving in a straight line, let alone trying to do that going fast.

Mine isn’t an every day driver
It’s in the garage if the weather is bad so I can’t help you

How'd you keep that POS running?

My 1945 USMC jeep (technically, a "GPW" made by Ford but it has the Willys drive train) will go in a straight line, but 45 mph is about as fast as you want to go. No seat belts - just a little belt that clips across the opening. It isn't going to keep you in LOL. The gas tank is under the driver's seat. I replaced the fairly comfortable after market seats with authentic spring seats. The new seats look better but are not comfortable at all.
The GPW is small but has a surprisingly wide turning radius. I can only assume that they did it intentionally to avoid people flipping the jeeps on tight turns.

Your little dash rubber ducks are stupid
Nothing special about a Jeep anymore

I have a '97 Wrangler. I don't do the ducks either. Was stopped behind a newer Jeep at a stop sign and the fat lesbian passenger hopped out and gave me a duck. I said thanks and tossed it in my glove compartment. I don't get it.
Same here. I have a 97 Wrangler Sahara. No ducks allowed in my Jeep. Doors and top are stored in my shop and the Jeep is kept out of the weather. I'll take it out when the weather is good, usually with the wife. And I don't do the wave either. Not into the cult. The bonus is it's a stick shift, so not concerned it gets stolen with the younger generation lol

What is your definition of old vs new…because this was a thing going back 30 years ago…primarily with overweight lesbian looking women.
Bull. Pathfinders were the car of choice for lesbians in the 90s. They didn't move to Jeeps until the 4 doors Wranglers came out. (hehe)

I used to have a video of a jeep with snorkel stopped on feeder of 45 South because it was flooded ahead about a foot deep. Jeep had blinkers on while cars, SUVs, and trucks plowed by in left lane.

I really don't care a whole lot about what anyone thinks about me when I drive my Jeep with or without the doors
Posted on 10/15/25 at 5:25 pm to Chucktown_Badger
Why did you ask if someone likes to drives with their doors off?
Your story doesnt sound fun to me 1 bit
Do you see?

That’s an air intake to get above the dust.

I got rid of my CJ in 2015 due to major knee surgery(stick)but the lesbian/Jeep thing was ramping up. Soon after, grandma's and lot's of lib males were driving the SUV looking Jeeps. I had 3 and all were stick shift 2 doors. I could never get into the 4 door thing. It's an SUV mom vehicle to me.
