Rams are ok, but dont hold value like the competition.

If you buy a Ram you are buying it for long term. I just bought a used one and so far it has been a great truck.

On that note, I have a Jeep Wrangler for sale- 06 TJ with a 4.0 motor.

Nobody wants to pay $90k for a reshaped Grand Cherokee.

I've driven them as a rental a couple times.

If I had unlimited money, I actually would buy one. Drive well and very roomy.

There are a ton of people that have no business buying six figure vehicles.

A lot of people say that this might not be the case since non-recalled models and repaired models are also seeing main bearing failures too.

I think the oil they are using is to thin. Some of those Toyota are using 0w8 oil.

Gm has the same issue running 0w20 and changed it 0w40.

Oil weight is based on temperature. The 0w20 would probably be ok in a car but using it in truck that's likely to pull a trailer etc, in an engine that was designed to run 5w30 to begin with was asinine.

They are running these light grades of oil for fuel economy ratings and could care less if your engine is destroyed after the warranty expires.

Twin turbo 6 cyl is a better engine than any V8 in every measurable except durability and sound. I prefer a NA V8 for those two reasons, but to argue it's a better engine performance wise is just not true

So then why not just make twin-turbo V8’s?

Yeah. I’m headed to the CHP test track Saturday to see the pursuit rated grand wagoneer be put through their tests.

The grand isn’t going away. It just recently got the pursuit rating for LEO agencies.

Turbo inherently is more complex and has more possible points of failure. The value of NA V8 is the absence of turbo, and the CAFE standards even managed to make V8s unreliable.

6cyl.
Auto
4wd
AC, tilt, cruise, PW
Sunroof (s)

Good deal, I felt like...

I rented a grand wagoneer a few months back and it was actually pretty smooth for the 3 days I drove it. But there is no way in hell I would pay that much for a jeep.

this! When they slapped a 100k price tag on it and tried to pretend it was better than a Cadillac escalade

It is. People switch to 5W20 and they idle better and generally run better. I have my first oil change coming up and will be switching to see how it goes. But I also don’t have any of the rough idle or other issues.
