And there lies the problem. Nobody is going to do anything. Not our representatives, not our officials, and for sure not the people of this state.

He gonna tell us we have been not behaving and for everyone to go to our rooms.

I have no doubt Destroya is going to say schools will not be in person until she decides it’s ok. I just wonder how that will affect private schools.

Generally the private schools will follow what public does, especially if there is bus service involved.
I hope that with this situation the private schools stick to their guns and start school like normal. Our parents have common sense and of course want the best for the kids

They’re freaking out because the Nola hospitals have had a huge surge is hospitalizations the past few days. The last 2 days were as busy as they were 3-4 months ago. I went from my normal duties of admin/financial back to doing intakes and exams.
But but but this board says 95% hospitalization and ICU utilization is normal, and they are no more busy than any other time of year. And they can flex. Etc.

So this is the presser where he turns the screws on us, evermore?

My bet would be is that he's going to try and scare everyone and then frick us Thursday or Friday.
I doubt he does it today because we're still in his prayer and fasting timeline.

Well good and I hope you are correct. All I've seen so far is a bunch of restaurant and bar owners kissing Latoya's arse while whining that they can't operate in this environment.

It depends on how it is accomplished.
If the public school system says they are closing the schools, then that doesn't necessarily impact private schools.
If JBE or Destroya or some other local authority figure says no indoor non-family groups larger than 10, then that rule applies to private schools as well. So if they can have class sizes of 9 or less (because you have to count the teacher) then they can probably still make a go of it.

That guy is JBE's biggest fluffer. He actually thinks he's some big shot around here but a lot of people think he's a joke.

I love how many of my liberal family members/friends were singing JBE's praises for the mask shite and touting "science", then he says we will pray away the virus through fasting. They were like uhhhhhhhhhhhhh wtf.
