Can someone remind JBE is no longer a company commander and treating the state as if he's coming back from a weekend where three soldiers got a DUI, an buck Sergeant tried to fight a midget stripper, and two guys pissed hot on a urinalysis?

Yep. Not one word about protests either.

That dude straight played us. Pumped up the numbers two days in a row with a scheme to skew the numbers as much as possible. It’s about to go down in the dms.

All proclamations have been announced on Monday & go into effect on the following Friday
I swear he specifically said when he extended phase 2 that he would next announce on 7/20, wouldn’t be the 1st time I was wrong

We’re going back down to phase 1 if he talks to the UMC or VA medical staffs. They’re freaking out because the Nola hospitals have had a huge surge is hospitalizations the past few days. The last 2 days were as busy as they were 3-4 months ago. I went from my normal duties of admin/financial back to doing intakes and exams.
It’s going to be a long rest of 2020.

Are you pulling in patients from Laffy/LC/Out of state?
From AHDatalytics (Region 1)
April 2nd, 2020:
Hospitalizations: 75.83%
ICU Usage: 78.95%
Ventilator Use: 67.85%
July 20th, 2020:
Hospitalizations: 66.49%
ICU Usage: 61.81%
Ventilator Use: 20.43%
Case Numbers/Percent Positives (peak vs. now, Orleans + Jefferson Parish). Source: AHDatalytics.
Peak date: 4/6/2020 (interestingly, hospitalizations were already starting to trend down on this date - indicating a heavy testing backlog at the time).
4/6/2020: 5,777 cases were reported over the prior 7 days, with 72.9% of tests coming back positive.
7/20/2020: 1,964 cases were reported over the prior 7 days, with 9.4% of tests coming back positive.

Everyone I know that has had COVID has said it felt no different than the flu + fatigue.
Those of you who do not understand that we're being played are living with your heads in the sand. This is pandemic manufacturing 101 and they're still bad at it.

I just don’t see what rolling back restrictions is going to do at this point. To me it’s just delaying the inevitable. And fricking a lot of small business owners over in the process.
