We will Never reach that criteria with the huge false positive rate of these shitty tests. Many of these positives are such low thresholds of viral load they are likely people who had the virus months ago and recovered or have such little load they are not contagious.

Exactly. Same in Gulfport/Diamondhead area this weekend. Some people were wearing them. Most were not. It was wonderful.

Deaths are a lagging indicator
We don’t know yet how many people will get sick from Labor Day parties, we only have a limited # of vents & there are hospitals (15 at last count) with no ICU beds
We cannot overwhelm the hospitals, especially with the hurricane that just came through
What we really need is double the normal amount of federal dollars to help fight the pandemic & rebuild from the hurricane
