YOu think maybe the fact that we are testing at the third highest rate per capita has somethign to do with that? Maybe stop handing out Bic Mac's to dumb arse's that get tested.
Gotta get that federal money. It’s what our governor has been aiming towards all along.

We, as in Ochsner, stopped testing asymptomatic people weeks ago, and we are the largest system in the state
Well i've had 5 asymptomatic staff members go there this week and all got tested. That may be a policy but it surely isn't practiced. Do you think people are not smart enough to say I have a headache?

Urgent cares and other systems in our area all stopped asymptomatic testing, as we are running low on the reacting agent needed, we still have plenty of swabs
That may be true. But apparently that is not the case in Baton Rouge or many other places across the state.
It sounds like your hospital system and the urgent care centers in/around New Orleans are no longer testing asymptomatic individuals. But that is absolutely not the case elsewhere in the state.

JBE doesn't want to say that we are also leading testing per capita.
So yes, more testing will find more cases.

Calling out businesses that are operating. What a fricking joke this is.

Urgent cares in the northshore are testing asymptomatic. Wife had no symptoms but came in contact with a later confirmed positive so she called around and there were at least 6 places that said they'd give her a test.

Doctors cant tell if you truly lost taste or smell, or have body aches etc

Logically antibody study tests for active virus as well.

Yammering. And now he’s got Browning putting all of the bars being punished on blast by name. On TV. I don’t really understand this.

Why are we even having these pressers anymore? Such a waste of time and resources

From the article:
The state’s largest health system is hoping to recruit more people in Baton Rouge — especially from the 70811, 70812, 70814 and 70819 ZIP codes — to obtain free coronavirus and antibody tests so researchers can better understand the scope of the outbreak in the capital region.

There are 13 locations set up in Lafayette this week doing free test with no symptom requirements

I'm a grad student atm so it may have something to do with getting tested as a student. But I remember the emails mentioning the word 'free'

Yes. That is the entire point of the study. To determine overall spread.
