that he's not planning on opening a parish by itself Said maybe they could look at regions but I took it as he's leaning to all or nothing. UGH.

What about a parish next to the next parish that a region is open?

That might actually help the rest of us out since New Orleans has been trending positively. Then again, he'd had to against LaToya to open NO before May 15th.

Yes regions make sense but I just don't get the feeling he's going to do it.

Jbe won’t open up by region because it’s spelled too much like religion which he hates

They don’t want parishes taking business away from neighboring parishes that are shutdown and hurting them even more.

Kinda like what Destroya did by essentially shutting down Orleans Parish is going to hurt Jefferson Parish

That’s why you saw such a blowback on her.

She’s an idiot

If you look at the gerrymandered borders of parishes it definitely makes more sense to do it regionally.

But JBE is still a ambulance chasing dem shill.

He is aware of the price of oil and that there will be little income taxes for the state coming in right?

I have a ton of people sick and positive in the nursing home where I work. I still think that things need to open AND rapid testing needs to be done for medical employees ASAP so that they can test and either go home if positive or go in to work.

To clarify: I was relaying a question that was asked --- not saying I think it should be that way.

Well right now Destroya is saying May 15 or maybe never, and Harry Lee's daughter over in Jefferson is saying a couple of weeks, so they are going to have to figure that out.

State doctor man saying that we're doing high numbers of tests, we're not reaching everywhere we want.
Will focus on reaching various populations .. trying to surge testing capabilities (mentioned Hammond) where they're not seeing the volume of testing that they wish to see

Caddo 6/7% positive; 16/17% testing positive Baton Rouge (did I hear that right?)

Each parish won't have these machines. Need specimen collection in each parish going back to the larger areas to be run.

Need to retool how data is reported as well.

timeline for 200K testing -- month of May. Per state doc.

Moving target. Major limitation is collection swab. trying to get 3d printed swabs done and validated.
