I'm waiting to see what the employers do. Many are talking about requiring the vaccine to return to the office. From what I'm reading, the second shot really puts you on your arse and will require a "sick day." I wonder if that will change employer's minds given most have paid sick day plans.

If anyone wants to try the Johnson & Johnson vaccine that only requires one shot, my wife is helping run the trials at Ochsner. Send me a dm.

I had to google “traunch” because I have never heard it used 50 times in one sitting.

I didn’t hear the comment but if he said in another statement that some companies will soon be putting out 3.5 million doses per week then how does 20 million in the next 12 months make sense?

Why bring outside people in when they already have trained medical staff in nursing homes?

It isn't brain surgery, how complicated do you think that it is?

You do realize nursing homes employ nurses, right?

How about they do their job instead of sending someone who works in a pharmacy where sick people pick up medicine into a nursing home?

It will, even for younger people. You don't feel "sick" but you feel like you just ran 10 miles the day before.

I never said they should, just said they are more than capable of completing the job.
