That's not it. Their romantic and reproductive troubles are well documented. You have grown men sleeping with waifu pillows, not because they can't find a woman ala American neckbeard, but because that's what they prefer.

I read something about this recently, basically their millennial males have some weird anti-social behaviors that manifests itself in watching a lot of porn and not dating, marrying, having kids etc
So they have an aging population with a low birth rate lower than their natural mortality rate

I worked at an exclusive private golf club. The season was from Mid April until first of November. It was frowned upon, and an unwritten rule, that upper management have kids in the summer. If they did they caught hell. They wanted you to plan the pregnancy from November to March.
