Because they didn’t give you all the facts about a mass casualty attack two hours after it happened?

So New Orleans managed to go 3 hours without a murder in 2025. Impressive.

Just stop, people in this thread haven’t heard from their loved ones yet.

RIP to the victims and my deepest condolences to the victims families. I'm not going to rant because, unfortunately it was a matter of time. People can't even go out and have a good time without animals on the streets. When will Al and Jesse come down to protest? BLM? Freaking thugs, man. When is enough is enough with this shite?

If truly a terrorist attack, which most people would think by what was said in the presser, the truck having a Texas plate leads to the person responsible likely crossing the border illegally over the past few years.

Because it’s a terror attack and nopd isn’t equipped to do much.

did you hear from your son? My kids in their 30’s now. I’m so glad they stayed home with our grandkids last night.

Because despite the FBI saying it’s unconfirmed, this was a terror attack.

That’s above NOPD, LA state police, etc.

That's certainly a possibility. It's just as possible she made it up or doesn't know that there is a difference between a terrorist attack by a foreigner or someone terrorizing a group of people they got into it with earlier. I just know i've never heard her tell the truth about anything in her 7 years as Mayor. This would be an interesting time to start, but I do admit it's possible she's so blasted from NYE she slipped up and told the truth.

I would imagine that is standard protocol in an event like this as it should be honestly, local cities don’t have the same manpower much less in New Orleans where they are 200 cops short.

don’t dream up a conspiracy

Teedy and co. were still liquored up from their parties and let out too much info, and the idiot at the end telling everyone to go out and party just shows the idiocy or city leadership.

I 100% would not blame the nfl for moving the Super Bowl now. What a complete shite show.

Yes! Thanks for asking.

They were already back at the hotel before this happened. Thank the Lord!

Man this looks terrible. I'm not normally a superstitious person but we were at a Xmas market very near the one in Germany where the Saudi guy plowed through people and now we have traveled back to the US for an appointment in NOLA and this.

Prayers to any NOLA peeps on here who may have been affected.
