Is she to blame for.not using them? OK, fire her. Just don't think it solves any fundamental problem that kept those barricades offline for the last few years.
She’s fairly new so truthfully it’s not her fault. It’s whoever is in charge of the FQ security IMO. Or if she was told they had them and didn’t use them as her call, that’s on her. But it’s doubtful no one in the force knew about them, someone should have brought it up sooner when they knew the bollards were being updated.
I’m not saying it’s their fault because of the incident, as much as if they knowingly had barriers down and knowingly had back up options that weren’t used. That’s terrible leadership.

Yea you can’t say they caused the incident. It’s on the guy in the truck but
To have bollards, know bollards are important enough to be replacing them with upgrades, and in interim have portable options sitting in a warehouse is unfortunately an offense that should have consequence. Someone else should be in that key strategy role that missed this and the chief probably should’ve asked the question at some point. “What do we have available in interim?” is a mandatory ask, and either she didn’t pursue it or she was given a false answer. Neither great

Are you positive that you saw a laptop?

Squad cars. Which they used.
The temporary bollards put in place today would not have stopped the event. People really need to see that.

I've read damn near every page of this thread, and as someone that's been on the actual law enforcement side of investigations like this many times - you are making a fool of yourself and ruining this thread.
Luckily LNCHBOX finally shut up a dozen or so pages ago, but you need to consider doing the same.

Could be one and could be something else. Of course I don’t consider everything to be a conspiracy either.

Yeah, I’m sure it’s just as simple as it appears and there’s nothing the Feds are trying to cover up. Just ignore your brain when you think that there is no common sense here. Because the Feds would never lie to you, would they?
Lay it all out for us plebes then, what are they covering up and what would the purpose be? They aren't framing this guy as alt-right, as a Republican, as a Trump supporter, ANYTHING like that. It's known he donated to ActBlue and is a Muslim.
What is the end goal of a frame job here? What is the end goal of a setup? If he was a "victim of MKUltra" like you're probably going to suggest, what did they accomplish by triggering him?
You're too hysterically emotional to actually think with any logic and follow through all the thought processes here.

How can she not??? But it’s being kept or more so overlooked which is understandable BUT dear god the incompetence is off the charts
Really she should, if that is under her direction. She admitted they were in a gap in street protection while the new equipment was being installed, and that they were using squad cars and equipment. To think they didn’t use anything further while this gap was available is crazy, especially when they were put in place in response to terrorist attacks using vehicles in other areas of the world.
