It's officially August. How was your July?

Did you make the most of it, considering everything that is going on?
The fact that the pandemic wiped out the spring, and things started opening up at the cusp of summer, I have been going out of my way to find things to do. Rarely has a day been wasted and taken for granted.
This pandemic has indirectly given me a swift kick in the arse to live a little.

It was good. Been busy with work but went down to the Hill Country for a week. Saw the comet every night whilst down there. Brewed some beer which I'm drinking now and a cool front came through today so.....pretty, pretty nice.

I’ve been working more than I have the last several years but I’ve also taken a few trips to South Texas to see my brother which has been nice.

Pretty good honestly. Spent a lot of time outside with my kids. The oldest’s camp worked out great and didn’t have one case of the virus that anyone knew about anyway. It ended today. The youngest is almost two and finally able to do a little on his own (grab something off the counter, put stuff where it belongs). My sister delivered a healthy boy on Wednesday. I’m thankful.

Praying to God the government let’s us all get back to work as soon as possible. It’s heartbreaking to talk to so many people facing major income loss, pay cuts, and uncertainty.
