The muggy 80 degree weather already made it not feel like Xmas

The understood rule is that you keep them up for 12 more days and then have a ready-made excuse to drink for a month-plus

Daylight tomorrow. It’s coming down. I need to get all these inflatable characters out of my front yard so I can mow the lawn. It’s ridiculous that I have to do this at the end of December.

Nope. Take down the cheap inflatable yard shite for sure. But if everything else is done right, pretty soon they're Mardi Gras decorations. Do you even Louisiana?

January 6. Do the research yourself for the reason why.

This traditional answer, to wait for the epiphany. Which was when the wisemen visited baby Jesus.

Of course Walmart was completely out of some Christmas items and they were already putting out the Mardi Gras decorations out before Christmas Eve. Sometimes they would have the Valentines Day candy out at this time.

I also walked down the toy aisles this year and some were stripped bare. Good luck if your kid got a gift card.

My dad always had my sister and I replace the green outdoor lights with blue lights to make red, white, and blue for New Years.
